Banquet
The Conference Banquet will be held on August 28 (Wed) 18:30-20:30 in “Beluvedere” Banquet hall on the 13th Floor of Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo, which is close to Odori Subway station.
About Sapporo
To move from New-Chitose Airport to Sapporo Station, you have the option of taking a train or a bus. Trains are faster, but buses offer various destinations.

How to get to Clark Kaikan
From JR Sapporo Station
It will take about 15 minutes to Clark Kaikan on foot.
1. After getting off the train, go through the west gate to the north exit.
2. Walk about 500 m to the northwest, you will find the main gate of Hokkaido University
3. Passing through the gate, you will see a Y-branch. Take a left and walk along the lawn on your right. Then, you will see a flat building through trees. It’s the Clark Kaikan. The Auditorium is on the first floor. Other rooms are on the third floor.
From Namboku Subway Line Sapporo Station
The subway’s north exit connects to the JR’s south exit. Take the passageway to the north exit of JR Sapporo Station.
How to get to Frontier Research in Applied Sciences Building
Namboku Subway Line is convenient. From downtown Sapporo (Sapporo Station, Odori-Koen, Susukino, and so on), Take a subway bound for Asabu, and get off at Kita Juni Jo Station (N-5). It will take 10-15 minutes to the venue.
- After getting off the subway, walk to the northwest (one block to the west and two blocks to the north.) You will find a gate. This is Kita Jusan Jo Mon.
- Pass through the gate and walk along Ginkgo Avenue. You will get to the Faculty and Graduate School of Engineering.
- Turn to the right and walk north on the main street. The Frontier Research in Applied Sciences Building is between the Student Communication Building and the North Library.
If you like to walk from Sapporo Station, it will take approximately 25 minutes.
