From flipping qubits to quantum programming

Abstract

In my lecture I will analyze whether it is possible to design a universal programmable quantum processor. This processor should have two registers, the data register and the program register. The data register is a quantum system on which the map (i.e. a specific dynamics) is going to be applied. In the program register the information about the dynamics itself is encoded.
