A high efficient single photon source and quantum　phase gates for photonic qubits

Abstract

The recent activities of Hokkaido University Quantum Optics Group toward the information processing using photons are reviewed. Single photon sources using gated parametric down conversion (G-SPDC), generation of entangled two photon states, and quantum phase gates using linear optics, and those using atom cavity non linearity are overviewed.
