Venue is located at 'Fune-no kagakukan' station by the Yurikamome line.

Tokyo has two airports : Narita International Airport and Haneda Airport which deals with domestic flights.


From Narita International Airport

From Narita International Airport, there are three ways to get to the venue.

Way 1:
Airport Limousine Bus : (1) 2,700 yen(bus ticket) + (2) 180 yen(train ticket) = 2280 yen, 92 minutes.
(1) 75 minutes ; Take Airport Limousine Bus for "Rinkai Fukutoshin Area" and get off at "
Hotel Grand Pacific Meridien
". 1 minute - Walk to the Yurikamome line, "Daiba" station.
(2) 1 minute ; Get off at " Funeno-Kagakukan" station.

  • The journey time is approximately 75 minutes but heavily depends on the traffic.
    In the morning and in the evening it might take longer.
  • The Airport Limousine Bus is probably the most convenient way to get to the venue
    but the service runs only once every one or two hours.
       Departure time is as follows:
           From "Narita International Airport" to "Hotel Grand Pacific Meridien".
           10:55, 13:50, 15:50, 16:50, 17:50, 18:50.
           From "Hotel Grand Pacific Meridien" to "Narita International Airport".
           7:05, 9:05, 12:00, 14:05, 15:35.
  • You will find the ticket desk right in front of you in the arrival lobby, and the bus
    stops are then located immediately outside each terminal building. Buses leave for
    Tokyo Station, Shinjyuku Station and major hotels including your hotel "Grand
    Pacific Meridien".

Way 2:
Narita Express Train : (1) 1,450 yen(train ticket)+1,660 yen(express ticket) + (2) 370 yen(train ticket)
     = 3,480 yen, 79 minutes
(1) 60 minutes ; Take the JR Narita Express trains from "Narita Airport" to " Tokyo" station.
       3 minutes - Change to Yamnote-line trainsiBound for Shibuya) and get off at "Shimbashi" station
      (Shiodome Exit).
(2) 16 minutes ; Take the Yurikamome line trains from "Shimbashi"station to "Funeno-Kagakukan"
      station.

  • The JR Narita Express departs every 30 min. and "Tokyo" is the first stop from Narita Airport Terminal 2.
  • To board the train, follow the signs from inside the terminal building.

Way 3:
Keisei Express Train : (1) 1,920 yen(express ticket) + (2) 160 yen(train ticket) + (3) 370 yen(train
     ticket) = 1,530 yen, 87 minutes.
(1) 56 minutes : Take the Keisei Skyliner from " Narita International Airport" to "Nippori" station
(2) 15 minutes : Take the JR Keihin-Tohoku line trains from "Nippori" station to"Shimbashi"
     station(Shiodome Exit).
(3) 16 minutes : Take the Yurikamome line trains from "Shimbashi" station to "Funeno-
     Kagakukan" station.

  • Trains depart every forty minutes from both terminals.
  • At "Nippori" station, go out the Keisei ticket gate once. Buy a JR ticket and go through
    JR ticket gate. Those two ticket gates are in a same building and not much walking
    involved.

We do not recommend you to get a taxi.
Narita is 66 km east of Tokyo: the fare is likely to be more than $200 U.S.


From Haneda Airport

Haneda Airport is only 10 km away from the city center. From Haneda Airport, there are three ways
to get to the venue.

Way 1:
Airport Limousine Bus : (1) 600 yen(bus ticket) + 180 yen(train ticket) = 780 yen, 26 minutes.
(1) 15-20 minutes : Take Airport Limousine Bus for "Rinkai Fukutoshin Area" and get off at "
Hotel Grand Pacific Meridien
". 1 minute - Walk to the Yurikamome line, "Daiba" station.
(2) 1 minute : Get off at " Funeno-Kagakukan" station.

  • Airport Limousine bus (time table):
           From "Haneda Airport" to "Hotel Grand Pacific Meridien".
           8:15, 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:20, 13:20, 14:20, 18:30, 19:30.
           From "Hotel Grand Pacific Meridien" to "Haneda Airport".
           8:15, 9:15, 10:20, 11:10, 12:15, 13:15, 14:15, 15:15, 16:45.


Way 2:
Tokyo Monorail : (1) 470 yen(monorail ticket) + (2) 130 yen(train ticket){(3) 370 yen (train ticket)
       = 970 yen, 39 minutes.
(1) 21 minutes: Take Tokyo Monorail from "Haneda Airport" to "Hamamatsucho" station.
       Trains depart every 5 minutes.
(2) 2 minutes: Take the JR Yamanote-line trains (Bound for Tokyo St.) or JR Keihintohoku-line trains
( Bound for Tokyo St.)
and get off at "Shimbashi" station (Shiodome Exit). Trains depart every 2~4 minutes.
(3) 16 minutes: Take the Yurikamome line trains from "Shimbashi" station to "Funeno-Kagakukan" station.


Way 3:
Tokyo Monorail : (1) 470 yen(monorail ticket){(2) 200 yen(train ticket)= 670 yen, 38 minutes.
(1) 18 minutes: Take Tokyo Monorail from "Haneda Airport" to "Tennoz Isle" station.
(2) 5 minutes: Take to "Tokyo Teleport" station.
(3) 15 minutes: Walk to a conference venue," National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation".
