So please be careful when you submit your poster-only submission.<\/span><\/strong>\r\n\r\nA submission to AQIS consists of an\u00a0<strong>extended abstract (11-point font minimum,\u00a03 pages maximum excluding references)<\/strong>, containing a non-technical, clear and insightful description of the results and main ideas, their impact, and their importance to quantum information and computation. In addition, the extended abstract may refer to a technical version of the work, either posted to an online repository, such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/\">arXiv.org<\/a>, or uploaded as an appendix after the extended abstract.\u00a0The technical version will be considered only at the discretion of the program committee. In all cases, the total submission must be uploaded as a single file.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nExtended abstracts should be prepared using the\u00a0<strong>LaTeX template<\/strong>\u00a0provided at this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/aqis-conf.org\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/AQIS_template.zip\">link<\/a>.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSubmissions deviating significantly from these guidelines may be rejected without consideration of their merits.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n<strong>Contributions must be submitted electronically via the submission website\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/my\/conference?conf=aqis25\">EasyChair<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=aqis24\">\u00a0<\/a>(an EasyChair account is required).\r\n\r\n \r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conference Format<\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe scientific program will consist of invited talks, tutorials, contributed long talks, contributed short talks and poster sessions. By default, each submission will be considered for a long talk, a short talk, or a poster, in this order of preference. The submissions page allows authors to express their preference for talk or poster. There will also be a best student poster award.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPlease note that\u00a0<strong>AQIS does not have published proceedings<\/strong>, so authors are welcome to submit work that has been previously published, and acceptance at AQIS will not impact the ability to publish work in other venues.\r\n\r\n \r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Best Student Poster Award<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nA submission is eligible only if the main author(s) is\/are student(s), and at least 60% of the work has been done by the student(s), including a majority of the key ideas. The PC chair reserves the right to ask for any clarifications regarding the student(s) contributions at any time.
