In addition, the extended abstract may refer to a technical version of the work, either posted to an online repository, such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/\">arXiv.org<\/a>, or uploaded as an appendix after the extended abstract.&nbsp;The technical version will be considered only at the discretion of the program committee. In all cases, the total submission must be uploaded as a single file. Extended abstracts should be prepared using the&nbsp;<strong>LaTeX template<\/strong>&nbsp;provided at this <a href=\"https:\/\/aqis-conf.org\/2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/AQIS_template.zip\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/aqis-conf.org\/2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/AQIS_template.zip\">link<\/a>. Submissions deviating significantly from these guidelines may be rejected without consideration of their merits.&nbsp;<strong>Contributions must be submitted electronically via the submission website <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=aqis26\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=aqis26\">EasyChair<\/a><\/strong> (an EasyChair account is required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conference Format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scientific program will consist of invited talks, tutorials, contributed long talks, contributed short talks and poster sessions. By default, each submission will be considered for a long talk, a short talk, or a poster, in this order of preference. The submissions page allows authors to express their preference for talk or poster. There will also be a best student poster award. Please note that&nbsp;<strong>AQIS does not have published proceedings<\/strong>, so authors are welcome to submit work that has been previously published, and acceptance at AQIS will not impact the ability to publish work in other venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Best Student Poster Award<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A submission is eligible only if the main author(s) is\/are student(s), and at least 60% of the work has been done by the student(s), including a majority of the key ideas. The PC chair reserves the right to ask for any clarifications regarding the student(s) contributions at any time.
