AQIS 2026 will be held at the KAIST Auditorium (E15) on the KAIST main campus in Daejeon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Notice: Venue Change<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To accommodate the increased number of participants, the main conference venue has been changed from Fusion Hall in the KI Building (E4) to the KAIST Auditorium (E15). The conference dates remain unchanged: August 24\u201328, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Access to Venue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main conference venue, KAIST Auditorium (E15), is located on the KAIST main campus in Daejeon. Most international participants are expected to arrive via Incheon International Airport (ICN). Cheongju International Airport (CJJ) is closer to Daejeon, but flight availability may be more limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.1 From Incheon International Airport (ICN) to Daejeon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option A. Airport \/ intercity bus to Daejeon<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The most direct public-transport option from Incheon International Airport is an airport\/intercity bus to Daejeon. If available, we recommend getting off at Daejeon Government Complex<\/strong> (\uc815\ubd80\ub300\uc804\uccad\uc0ac \/ Jeongbu Cheongsa)<\/em>, which is relatively close to KAIST. From there, take a taxi to the KAIST main campus or directly to KAIST Auditorium (E15).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option B. Airport railroad + KTX train via Seoul Station<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another convenient option is to travel by train:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Take the airport railroad from Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Transfer to a KTX<\/strong> train from Seoul Station to Daejeon Station<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. From Daejeon Station, take a taxi to KAIST Auditorium (E15), KAIST.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2.2 From Cheongju International Airport (CJJ) to Daejeon<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Cheongju International Airport is closer to Daejeon than Incheon International Airport. From Cheongju Airport, we recommend taking an airport\/intercity bus bound for Daejeon Terminal Complex<\/strong> or Yuseong Terminal<\/strong>, if available. From the terminal, take a taxi to KAIST or directly to KAIST Auditorium (E15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2.3 From Daejeon Station to KAIST Auditorium (E15)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    The easiest way to reach the venue from Daejeon Station<\/strong> is by taxi. Ask the driver to go to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The ride usually takes about 20\u201330 minutes, depending on traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Public transport option<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you prefer public transportation, take Daejeon Metro Line 1<\/strong> from Daejeon Station to Wolpyeong (KAIST) Station<\/strong>, then take a short taxi ride to KAIST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2.4 From Daejeon bus terminals to KAIST Auditorium (E15)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From Daejeon Government Complex<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you arrive by airport bus from Incheon, you may get off at Daejeon Government Complex<\/strong>. This is a convenient stop for reaching KAIST. From there, we recommend taking a taxi directly to KAIST Auditorium (E15), KAIST. A city bus option is also available, but a taxi is usually easier for participants with luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From Daejeon Terminal Complex<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you arrive at Daejeon Terminal Complex, the easiest option is to take a taxi directly to KAIST Auditorium (E15), KAIST. A city-bus route is possible, but it may involve transfers and is not recommended for participants carrying luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2.5 From the KAIST Main Gate to the KAIST Auditorium (E15)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After entering the KAIST Main Gate, please follow the campus signs for KAIST Auditorium (E15). The auditorium is located within the KAIST main campus. If you are arriving by taxi, we recommend asking the driver to go directly to KAIST Auditorium (E15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
