Passport and Visa Requirements
Any foreign visitor wishing to enter the Republic of Korea should have a valid passport. Unless your country is under Visa Waiver Agreement with Korea, you are also required to obtain a Korean visa before entering.

Should you need a visa, please apply for it at least 2 months prior to your intended travel date (the sooner, the better).
If you need entry visa to participate “AQIS 2023 Seoul”, please fill out the red-color-indicated part of the form provided below and send it to “aqis2023(at)kias.re.kr“.
After getting an invitation letter from KIAS, you can go to a nearest Korean Consulate for C31 visa (short term visit for conferences).
